New Seeds

Today planted some more Beets, Carrots, Scallions and Sunflower Seeds.

Fertilizer and Harvesting

Today Laura and I fertilized all the roses, trees and veggie pots with Nitrogen rich fertilizer.

Also, planted my flowers from last weeks Huntington Gardens plant sale, including: Lavender, several different Salvias, Balloon Flowers, Lantana. Also some Home Depot aditions: Foxglove, petunias, impatiens, allysium, lobelia and cosmos.

I planted a burpless cucumber plant, 1 Red Bell Pepper Plant, a Yellow bell pepper plant (in a pot on the patio), a mini-bell pepper plant that I grew from seed (also on the patio). Also 2 more strawberry plants.

We also harvested 2 cucumbers, 1 mini green bell pepper, and some lettuce for a salad! The cucumbers were delish!

The new barrel. Planted seeds a few weeks ago.... Clockwise from the top: Beets, Carrots, Peas, Scallions. Covered in alfalfa hay to help keep moisture in.
The middle barrel! Cherry Tomatoes, Green Beans, Lettuce, Broccoli, Cayenne Pepper.
